Judicial Ethics Advisory Committee

The Judicial Ethics Advisory Committee (JEAC) was established by Order of the Supreme Court of Virginia. The JEAC issues advisory opinions concerning the compliance of proposed, future conduct with the Canons of Judicial Conduct. Requests for an advisory opinion may be made only by a judge or person whose conduct is subject to the Canons of Judicial Conduct.
