Virginia Public Law Libraries

Librarians are available at public law libraries to help individuals locate and use legal resources. Please note it is unlawful for library staff to perform legal research on behalf of members of the public or provide legal advice.  While librarians are unable to interpret information appearing in legal publications such as the Code of Virginia or a court case, librarians can provide direction to relevant legal information or referral services.
